Karachi's Weather: A Breath of Fresh Air
Karachi residents can look forward to a refreshing change in the weather this week. After a stormy start, the city is set to bask in fair skies and moderate temperatures, offering a welcome respite from the recent heavy rainfall and hailstorms.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts a mild and pleasant Wednesday, with daytime temperatures reaching a comfortable 28-29°C. This is a significant improvement from the cooler conditions experienced after the intense storms, where temperatures dropped noticeably.
The morning minimum temperature of 17°C has already risen to 18°C, and the day promises to be mild and cool. Light winds from the northeast, blowing at around 10 km/h, and humidity levels of 62% create a pleasant atmosphere, ideal for outdoor activities.
The air quality in the city has also seen a slight improvement, and there's no immediate threat of further rain. This means residents can enjoy the outdoors without the worry of sudden downpours.
A day earlier, Karachi was battered by heavy rain, hailstorms, thunder, and lightning, disrupting daily routines and causing a noticeable drop in temperatures. The PMD had forecast light to moderate rain, but several areas experienced intense downpours, with rain recorded in multiple locations across the city.
Despite the recent weather extremes, the current forecast brings a sense of calm and normalcy to Karachi, allowing residents to appreciate the beauty of fair skies and moderate temperatures.
